Hilbre

Went on an afternoon stroll to a local beauty spot called Hilbre Island yesterday. For those that don't know, it is situated off the coast of West Kirby and sits in the mouth of the River Dee, between Wirral and North Wales.

The weather wasn't fantastic but the light was nice and flat. Im hoping to get back at some stage later this year, when the tide isolates the place for a good 4 hrs, so the day was a bit of a photographic reccee.

I took my lumix tz80 with me  as it was nice and light. Plus it was a good opportunity to learn more about this rather complicated little camera. And for a compact zoom i'm rather pleased with the results.
