New Brighton Photo meet-up
Last night i arranged a photography meet-up for anyone interested. Something i'm going to try and do on a regular basis here in Merseyside.
One person turned up and we had a really good two hours taking images on New Brighton beach. Luckily it was a perfect evening for sunsets and the marbled cloud added another element to the dramatic colours.
As you may know i've been shooting a lot of bw lately so it made a nice change to do something in colour. Its one of the few subjects that bw can't really tackle, although i will probably have a go at converting the shot above.
All the shots were taken on my Canon 5D using a 28 - 135mm lens. ND grad filters were used to prevent the sky from over exposing. The iso was 100 and the files were shot raw.
Hopefully we can get a few more people joining us for an evening next month. Its a nice opportunity for people with a common interest to spend a few hours together out of the house. If you want to know about any future meet-ups you might like to follow
Don't forget to subscribe if you like this blog and feel free to comment on anything i have mentioned.
