Street Photography in Liverpool

I spent yesterday walking around the City of Liverpool taking pictures of anything that took my fancy. My main interest was street architecture, in particular the walkway over Scotland Road near the Birkenhead tunnel exit that i drive under every day. I wanted to capture the city in flat lighting, to show the texture and tones of the subjects. All the images were shot on an EOS 5D and processed in Adobe Lightroom. Everything was initially shot in color as raw files and converted to BW afterwards. Even though it was a dull, overcast day, i was able to bring out some drama in the sky.
